It has been an exceptionally busy year, with strong house price growth, largely unforeseen capacity issues and post MMR lending policy being hot items of debate. These have fueled clients demand for high-quality and timely data, and highlighted the importance of being able to recognise and manage risk in the real world.

Our dataset continues to grow rapidly, and we have passed another milestone of 72 million data points, representing some 15.5 million individual properties. We have also been busy with new product development, the most significant being the launch in beta mode of a new ‘Risk Tool’ which helps our clients to evaluate the risk profile of an individual property valuation at the point of instruction by providing a risk score and a series of alerts. This is a new and unique concept, and is akin to a credit score on an individual borrower – but applied to the physical building.
